Happy Birthday Becky!

My best friend Becky turned 21 the day before me and we celebrated by going to the cliffs and reminiscing about the past year and our hopes for 21. The next day we went to Pizza Port with a bunch of friends. here are some pictures!

Happy birthday Becky! you are such an amazing, beautiful, smart, passionate woman! I am so lucky to have you in my life. I am so glad we got to share our birthdays together!

I can't hide it anymore.. I'm in love...

with LOVE of course! This is a very different valentine's day for me because.. well... I'm single. Surprisingly, this will be my first single Valentine's day in 7 years. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I love love and I am going to celebrate it single or not! I personally am not in love with a guy, but I think being in love is magical. I cant wait to be in love (when the timing is right). But until then I still love things/people like...

Girls Night Out!

Sometimes you just need some good old fashion girl time. We dressed up, put on our fancy shoes, and went out on the town. I give the girl time an A+ but the restaurant a D-. We went to RA sushi because we heard it was so great. No one told us we would have to wait an hour and a half and watch people eat who were clearly there after us. The only reason why the restaurant got a D- and not and F is because of the very cute boys that were their. Dana my roommate even got a number! (Thats one for team single!) Killer Is No Longer My Name...

Well as you know one of my goals for 2011 was not to kill another animal. I can now tell you that I wont be killing any animals this year. I gave all my animals away. Dana's friend Brandon took the frog and Becky's friend took the fish!

So no more killing animals for me :)

Road Trip To The Grand Canyon

Well I can now check Grand Canyon off my goal list for 2011.

It all started around 10:30 pm on Saturday...

Bear: Want to go on a road trip?

Me: YES!! LETS GO TO THE GRAND CANYON

Bear,Brock,Ben: OKAY!

Everyone else: You guys are crazy!

So we left at 10:45pm with no plans and only the clothes on our back. With 6 stops, 2 hours of sleep, and San Diego behind us, we finally arrived at 8 am. When we arrived, Ranger Dan showed us where to go and we headed out to explore the GC. We walked around on the south rim sky deck, hiked around a bit, and found some awesome caves. We also visited a beautiful hotel where we enjoyed some yummy hot chocolate. After that, we decided to stay the night in the car. The boys searched for fire wood and I got the car ready for the night. After that we cooked hot dogs. We were so tired we decided to go to bed at 7 pm, but once we got in the car we realized this was a bad idea. First of all, it was 18 degrees and snowing, so we were freezing. Surprisingly the Prius is not comfortable to sleep in. So around 12pm we all agreed to get a hotel ( THANKS DAD)! We all slept like babies and in the morning we headed back.

It was a GREAT trip all in all. The spontaneity of the adventure was the best. We had no expectations and no plans, we took everything in and enjoyed each others company. I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else. SO thanks boys for a great trip!
