Quick Trip To NYC

Though my trip to New York was short (35 hours) I managed to take a few pictures. The flight back was great. Reese did really really well. When we got off the plane she looked at me and said, "well that was fun auntie Shea". I wouldn't describe it as fun, but not as bad as flights we have had in the past with little miss Reesie.

Planes and Friends

Well the last 48 hours have been crazy! It includes 3 flights, lots of really short naps, and one great friend reunion. We made it safely to New York City and now our main focus is getting on NY time. This 6 hour difference is kicking my butt. Here are a few pictures from the past two days.
I really like these people
Meet Trunkie. The Best kid suitcase ever. Its hilarious, Reese sits on top while I pull her through the airport. She was waving and smiling at everyone. Good news is she only fell on her face 2 times.
This is for my dear friend Ange

Potty Training 101

Potty training is a cruel joke from God. I swear God just is up there laughing his head off (if he has a head?..)

Brittany and I decided that we were going to start potty training Reese the other day and let me tell you I wish we hadn't. It's a lot of hard work, but most of the time it was so ridiculous all I could do was laugh. Neither Brittany nor I had ever trained a person to pee in a toilet, so we knew we were going to have our hands full.

I was peed on 10 times in 1 hour and our floor was covered in little pee droplets, but by the end of the day Reese and I had a pattern going. She would run, put out her arms as if she was about to fly away, and look back to see if I trailing behind her. I would then sweep her up like a hawk and run her to the bathroom.

I am proud to say she is getting a lot better and has very few accidents. Brittany and I totally deserve a gold metal!
Every time she went pee she received a treat. She always gives me one, it's hard work for both of us!

Today was a pretty mellow day. Reese and I went to a carnival down the street and then we played in a tent for the rest of the day. Here are a few pictures of our day.

Anna Pauline Holladay

I would now like to formally introduce Anna Pauline Holladay! She was named after both of my great grandmothers. Anna from my Mom's side and Pauline is from my Dad's side. We spent our day hang at the hospital. Reese and Anna were finally able to meet and they got along great! Every time Anna moved Reese started screaming with excitement! We then had a celebration dinner minus Brittany and Anna (they are still in the hospital till tomorrow morning). To top off another great day we had a beautiful walk home. Here are some pictures from our day.
